A waiver of the conference fee, a $1,000 grant for travel expenses, and the opportunity to present at the IUT Conference will be awarded to the graduate student who submits the most effective essay reflecting the theme, "Preparing Oneself as a Future Faculty Member."
This essay is to be a maximum of 500 words and will reflect the theme by emphasizing the importance of learning pedagogical techniques and developing contacts that will have an important impact on future teaching and learning.
Proposals from graduate students applying for this award will be accepted until March 26, 2010. Email your essay to iut@uwf.edu.
